No. Onboarding, data migration from your existing route sheets, and initial configuration are included in every plan. We don't charge separately to get you started — that would be a bad signal for a long-term relationship.
Districts are invoiced annually or by semester, depending on your procurement cycle. We work with school business offices on net-30 terms and purchase order acceptance. If your district has a specific billing requirement, bring it to the demo — we figure it out.
Yes. Every plan can start with a single school or a subset of routes. You don't need to roll out to the whole district on day one. Pilots run for a full school term so you can see real utilization data before expanding.
Plans are based on annual district enrollment, not monthly headcount. If your student population shifts significantly (merger, annex, enrollment spike), we revisit the plan at renewal. We don't reprice mid-year.
Student transportation data is treated as confidential. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. BusBook does not sell or share district data with third parties. We can provide our full security documentation and answer your district's data governance questions during the demo.
Most districts are fully operational within 2–3 weeks from contract signing. The first week is data import and configuration; the second week is testing with your team; the third week is live with your first school. Larger or more complex districts may take longer — we scope it in the demo.
